At Kartrij, we exist to celebrate the gamer lifestyle and help thousands of gaming brands get discovered. Gamers use the Kartrij platform to find the greatest deals from top gaming brands they love and earn Kartrij points for every dollar they spend. Gamers can then redeem those points for cash back or more gaming gear.
About The Role
Kartrij is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our core engineering team. We have a small, tight-knit team (there's 3 of us). We are primarily based in San Francisco, however, we work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Help build the world's first cashback marketplace for gamers. From web to mobile, there will be nothing you won't touch.
- Work directly with the founding team to help build and launch Kartrij from the ground up.
Requirements
- A full-stack generalist or backend specialist with 3+ years experience building web applications and backend systems.
- Experienced at writing clean, scalable code with significant experience in one or more scripting languages.
- Excited to move fast, prioritize, and constantly make critical product decisions.
- A self-starter: you have started something on your own before - a startup, an open-source project, something else.
- A deep love of gaming.
