About the Role
RevenueCat is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our remote-first team. This role involves designing, building, shipping, and supporting end-to-end features and products that help developers grow their business. You will be moving between codebases and technologies, ensuring high-quality code through good testing practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Write and debug SQL queries.
- Work on both backend and frontend tasks as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code reliability and quality.
- Engage in incident response and be part of the on-call rotation.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong skills in at least one mainstream programming language.
- Experience with Python, React, and PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fully-remote environment.
- Proactive in fixing or suggesting improvements for broken processes.
