Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Engineer at TheyDo, you will play a critical role in shaping our application architecture and making it ready to scale. You will work on technically ambitious projects, including:
- Realizing integrations with a wide ecosystem (e.g., Miro, Figma, Google Analytics, Salesforce, BigQuery, Snowflake) and managing the scale that comes with that.
- Improving real-time functionality to create an incredible multiplayer experience.
- Working on AI features that will redefine how our customers manage and uncover insights in their data.
- Transitioning our modular monolith into the first microservices.
- Optimizing queries and introducing caching to make retrieval of our data graph performant.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PMs, designers, and engineers.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through tests and documentation.
- Work asynchronously and manage your own tasks without unnecessary meetings.
