The Role
We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer specializing in Rust to join our Build team at QuickNode. This role is crucial for delivering value and impact in a fast-paced and innovative environment. As a key member of our team, you will be considered a “swiss army knife,” working alongside visionary thinkers to tackle unsolved problems in the blockchain space.
What You'll Do
- Work with a passionate team of engineers to develop and innovate products that push the boundaries of the industry.
- Design, build, and maintain reliable infrastructure that powers QuickNode services.
- Influence engineering strategy and roadmap across the team and company.
- Interact with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
- Triage, debug, and resolve issues impacting service quality.
- Continuously improve engineering practices, tools, and processes.
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience in Rust, Go, and/or C++.
- Proven track record in building large-scale distributed systems using tools like PostgreSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
- Passion for product development and a commitment to learning and growth.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $180,500 - $200,600 USD per year.
- Eligibility for a quarterly bonus based on company and individual performance.
