Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Engineering Manager for the Connectivity Team at Holidu, you will lead a cross-functional team of 7 engineers dedicated to developing and managing our platform that enables partners and integrators to ingest and manage over 6 million apartments. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Functional and disciplinary leadership of the team.
- Implementation of innovative technical solutions across our systems used by partners and internal stakeholders such as Guest Experience, Customer Happiness, and Business Development.
- Active participation in coding alongside managing the team.
- Ensuring the stability and scalability of our applications to support the company's growth.
- Team development through continuous feedback, supporting their growth, and recruiting new engineers.
- Collaborating with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define team goals and roadmap.
- Driving strategic technology decisions with peers and staff engineers.
Your Technical Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in software engineering with a focus on backend and/or frontend applications.
- Strong experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring, with additional skills in JavaScript/TypeScript/React being a plus.
- Experience in system architecture and designing microservice landscapes.
- Leadership experience with a focus on building a team culture of respect, empathy, and support.
