Bolt is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Bolt Market team, focusing on defining global priorities and supporting teams through strategies, frameworks, guidelines, and policies. This role is pivotal in executing projects on a global level and contributing to product development to scale our grocery vertical and stores across Europe and Africa.

About the Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will report to the Regional Manager and collaborate closely with the Product Data Analytics team. Your mission will be to create global data-driven frameworks around business strategy to achieve the company's ambitions, resolve inefficiencies, and identify growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Metric Ownership: Define and ensure visibility of meaningful and actionable business metrics.
• Project Delivery: Lead exciting projects like investment strategy and customer engagement products.
• Collaboration: Work with the Product team to design and run customer-facing A/B experiments.
• Dashboard Development: Build and improve dashboards to enable fast data-driven decisions by country teams.
• Empowerment: Enable teams to self-serve their dashboards and conduct regular analysis with pre-defined datasets.
• Tool Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in current data analytics tools.
• Data Collection: Translate business needs into data collection requirements for new insights and analysis.
• Business Insights: Analyze historical performance to provide actionable business insights.

About You

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years in an analytical role dealing with large data volumes. Experience in consulting, data analysis, business intelligence, or implementing data-driven solutions is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Excel; experience with Python or R is a strong plus.
• Statistical Knowledge: Solid understanding of Statistics and Probability theory.
• BI Tools: Hands-on experience with data visualization and BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Decision Making: Strong ability to make data-driven and metric-driven decisions.
• Ownership: Ability to manage your own backlog and stakeholders, prioritize for maximum impact, and lead data & analytics projects.

Location

This position is based in Tallinn, Estonia. Bolt supports relocation to Tallinn for this role.
