Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Berlin-based software company. This role is remote and focuses on enhancing developer experience and cloud engineering. The ideal candidate will come from a software engineering background, with a passion for creating optimal environments for development teams.
Responsibilities
- Developer Experience: Enhance the overall experience for software developers by improving tools and processes.
- Cloud Engineering: Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, primarily using AWS, to ensure efficient operations.
- Software Development: Participate in software development, potentially using languages like Go, Ruby, or Typescript.
- Tool Management: Utilize tools such as Terraform for infrastructure as code, Gitlab for CI/CD, and Datadog for monitoring.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with AWS in a production environment.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (k8s).
- Proficiency in Terraform.
- Background in software development with any of the following languages: Go, Ruby, Typescript.
- Experience with Gitlab and monitoring tools like Datadog.
