Context
GitGuardian is a global pre-Series C cybersecurity scale-up. Among our early investors are notable figures such as the co-founder of GitHub, Scott Chacon, and Docker co-founder / CTO Solomon Hykes. Top-tier American and European VC firms have also invested in GitGuardian. Our teams have developed a source code security platform for the DevOps generation, which is used by over 400K developers worldwide.
Missions
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing new features for our products
- Collaborating closely with other highly-skilled developers
- Working with an agile methodology alongside your Product Manager and Engineering Lead during 2-week sprint releases
- Maintaining and ensuring excellent code quality
- Participating in the growth of our technical teams
Depending on your preferences and the team you join, your mission may vary. You could be developing features from end to end, enhancing our user-facing dashboards, working on the self-hosted version of our application for big tech customers, or engaging in R&D for secrets detection and other vulnerabilities.
Our Stack
Our technical stack includes:
- Backend: Python + Django, Go, RabbitMQ, Redis
- DB: PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch (+ Kibana)
- Frontend: React / TypeScript
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS
Requirements
Ideal candidates should have:
- A degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar technical field
- At least 5+ years of web software development experience, with strong knowledge in Python
- Experience in web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt language to the audience
