Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Riot, you will be pivotal in crafting the infrastructure and applications that deliver a seamless experience to users. You will work closely with the frontend team to design GraphQL APIs and be involved in the backend codebase organization, setting standards for the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver new features to users reliably.
- Build robust backend systems.
- Organize and standardize the backend codebase.
- Collaborate with the frontend team to design GraphQL APIs.
- Research and implement innovative tech solutions to challenging problems.
Technical Stack
Our backend stack includes NodeJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, NestJS, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Temporal, and Elixir. Knowledge in these technologies will be crucial for your success in this role.
About You
- You have at least 3 years of experience in backend development, particularly with SQL.
- You are a proactive team player, eager to both give and receive feedback.
- You prioritize effectively to deliver on time without compromising quality.
- While not required, an interest in cybersecurity is a plus.
