Join Our Team as a Senior Solutions Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Senior Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a critical interface between our customers and our internal teams, including product engineering, marketing, partner, and customer success teams. Your primary responsibility will be to support the adoption of Snyk's solutions in new organizations and help evolve our offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Become a technical product expert, evangelist, and coach. Deliver technical sales experiences to customers and partners.
- Customer Education: Educate customers and partners about the adoption of open-source and cloud-native technologies, emphasizing the importance of empowering developers to stay secure.
- Sales Support: Own the technical aspects of the sale, provide demonstrations, manage technical proof of concepts (POCs), and share best practices.
- Collaboration: Interface with sales, engineering, product, and customer success teams to build solutions that solve customer problems.
- Feedback and Development: Shape and inform decisions on new features based on your experience and feedback from customers.
What We’re Looking For
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and French is required. Additional language skills in Spanish or Italian are a plus.
- Experience: 5-8 years in enterprise solution engineering, development roles, or enterprise security consulting.
- Customer Management: Proven track record with Global 2000 firms in managing and exceeding customer expectations throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Technical Knowledge: Expert knowledge of the developer and DevOps ecosystems and application security best practices.
- Communication Skills: Ability to manage and present at executive to practitioner levels at customers.
- Travel: Availability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in early-stage, fast-growth startups, especially in developer tooling.
- A developer background or experience with coding and/or deep security expertise.
- Experience working with the channel ecosystem.
- Experience as an enterprise or strategic sales engineer.
- Enjoy mentoring peers and have a team-oriented mindset.
