About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Python, Django, and JavaScript, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, ensuring their performance, security, and scalability.
This is a hybrid position, and availability to attend high-level meetings and planning sessions at our Draper, Utah office is highly preferred. Remote will be considered for the right candidate, but hybrid preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Python, Django, and JavaScript
- Review code and mentor junior programmers, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Design and implement RESTful APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Manage deployment processes using Docker and Kubernetes
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for scalable and reliable cloud solutions
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Python and Django as well as proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with database systems (PostgreSQL)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Good to Have
- Experience with Cloud Providers - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) strongly preferred
- Experience with Vue.js or React
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
