Join Coast as a Staff Full Stack Engineer
Coast is revolutionizing the U.S. B2B card payments infrastructure, focusing on commercial fleets and drivers. We are seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to join our world-class engineering team in New York City. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering client-facing features that set our product apart.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Feature Development: Build product features from web UI to distributed services back end.
- Engineering Culture: Help shape the engineering culture and have a voice in early technology and implementation choices.
- Integration: Evaluate and integrate critical third-party software and infrastructure, including payments and mobility stacks.
- Process Improvement: Challenge the team to automate, improve processes, and raise the bar for quality.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8-12+ years with first-class engineering teams, delivering quality software to production.
- Technical Skills: Substantial experience with server-side programming, databases, messaging, REST, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Web Development: Proficiency in modern web development, including TypeScript and frameworks like React.
- Design and Collaboration: Recognize the need for Domain Driven Design and have experience working in cross-functional agile teams.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep hands-on knowledge of developing applications in the cloud, preferably AWS.
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: $190,000 - $215,000 annually.
