Job Overview
Unes Supermercati is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT System Engineer to join our team in Vimodrone, Lombardy, Italy. As a Senior IT System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders, and supporting our IT team.
Key Responsibilities
Communication and Stakeholder Management
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations and alignment on project goals.
Project Management
- Utilize project management tools to plan, monitor, and control IT projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and objectives.
IT Infrastructure Maintenance
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including server racks, blade infrastructures, and virtual environments based on VMware.
Vendor Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for external IT service providers, managing relationships and ensuring compliance with company standards and requirements.
IT Support
- Provide IT support to the team, assisting with the use of IT systems and technologies as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in IT project management.
- A degree or technical diploma in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Client operating systems.
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Office 365, and backup systems such as Veeam.
- Knowledge of client virtualization systems like Horizon.

- This position is based in Vimodrone, Lombardy, Italy.
