CGI, a global leader in IT and business consulting services, is seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our team in Lyon. As a Lead Developer, you will play a crucial role in guiding our development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical solutions, and contributing to innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and support to a development team of six members.
• Analyze and assess the feasibility of functional and technical requests in collaboration with clients.
• Estimate technical solutions and ensure the quality of developments.
• Develop and integrate new features, and analyze production anomalies for corrective measures.
• Conduct technical testing and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Participate in technical innovation projects and contribute to the technical community through training, tech talks, and best practice dissemination.
• Handle complex development tasks and contribute to application environment tuning.
• Design and specify technical solutions, participate in cost estimation and bidding processes.
• Conduct audits and provide recommendations on technical solutions and code quality.
• Lead technical projects such as inter-application exchange rationalization, redesign, and monitoring.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong expertise in Java J2E 1.8, JBoss 7.1, Apache 2.4.x, and Spring Framework 4.2.5.
• Proficiency in front-end development using JSF 1.2, JSP 1.1, and jQuery 1.3.2.
• Experience with continuous integration using Jenkins and configuration management with Git.
• Familiarity with quality monitoring tools like Sonar and database management with Oracle 18.3 and Liquibase.
• Experience in agile methodologies, Scrum, DevOps, and TDD.
• Excellent technical skills and the ability to lead and enhance a multi-skilled technical team.
