CGI, a global leader in IT and business consulting services, is seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our team in Lyon. As a Lead Developer, you will play a crucial role in guiding our development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical solutions, and contributing to innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and support to a development team of six members.
- Analyze and assess the feasibility of functional and technical requests in collaboration with clients.
- Estimate technical solutions and ensure the quality of developments.
- Develop and integrate new features, and analyze production anomalies for corrective measures.
- Conduct technical testing and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Participate in technical innovation projects and contribute to the technical community through training, tech talks, and best practice dissemination.
- Handle complex development tasks and contribute to application environment tuning.
- Design and specify technical solutions, participate in cost estimation and bidding processes.
- Conduct audits and provide recommendations on technical solutions and code quality.
- Lead technical projects such as inter-application exchange rationalization, redesign, and monitoring.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong expertise in Java J2E 1.8, JBoss 7.1, Apache 2.4.x, and Spring Framework 4.2.5.
- Proficiency in front-end development using JSF 1.2, JSP 1.1, and jQuery 1.3.2.
- Experience with continuous integration using Jenkins and configuration management with Git.
- Familiarity with quality monitoring tools like Sonar and database management with Oracle 18.3 and Liquibase.
- Experience in agile methodologies, Scrum, DevOps, and TDD.
- Excellent technical skills and the ability to lead and enhance a multi-skilled technical team.
