Overview
Flow Traders is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. This role is pivotal in supporting our deep learning research and model-based trading initiatives. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and managing sophisticated cloud-based IT environments, ensuring they meet the highest standards of security and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Cloud-Based Environments: You will select, integrate, and administer third-party software and services to create robust IT infrastructures.
- Manage CI/CD Stack: Establish and maintain the continuous integration and continuous delivery stack, providing support and best practices for developers.
- Monitor IT Infrastructure: Ensure the security and efficiency of the IT infrastructure align with industry best practices.
- Support R&D Teams: Assist the research and development teams with daily operations, facilitating smooth and efficient workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 5 years in a relevant DevOps role, preferably with a BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS), automation/scripting, and infrastructure as code. Deep understanding of operating systems, networking, and containerization.
- Security Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Machine Learning Tooling: Experience with machine learning tooling and services is advantageous.
