Overview
JetBrains, a leading software development company known for creating intelligent tools and the Kotlin programming language, is seeking a Senior Product Manager for our Kotlin Moonshots team. This role is based in Munich, Germany, and offers a hybrid work model.
Role Description
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the exploration and development of innovative products and features that enhance the Kotlin developer experience or open new markets. Your primary focus will be on integrating Kotlin with AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive product and market research to identify new opportunities.
- Define success criteria for prototypes and verify hypotheses through experiments.
- Oversee the transformation of ideas into feasible product hypotheses that can be tested.
- Drive new products and features to public release and measure their success.
- Conduct UX and market research to gain insights and make informed decisions.
- Interact extensively with users to identify their needs, problems, and potential solutions.
- Work closely with developers, technical writers, developer advocates, and marketing and product managers across JetBrains.
- Collaborate with third-party library, framework, and tool authors.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of product management experience, preferably in ML/AI product development.
- Strong understanding of product metrics and research skills.
- Experience in software development and comfort in a highly technical domain.
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
