Responsibilities

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, test, and delivery.
Develop web applications using a variety of languages and technologies.
Facilitate design and architecture brainstorms.
Participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with team members to define and implement solutions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Experience with Azure Event-Driven Architecture: Hands-on knowledge of Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus for building scalable, event-driven solutions.
Integration Skills: Ability to integrate various systems and services using RESTful APIs and other integration techniques.
Proficiency in building applications using Python code.
Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript: Proficiency in front-end development for web applications.
Write basic SQL queries and general knowledge of relational databases.
Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of troubleshooting issues across different layers of applications and services.
Version Control: Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems for collaborative development.
Agile Development: Experience working in Agile environments, managing tasks, and delivering features iteratively.
Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication skills for working in teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
Security Best Practices: Understanding of application security principles and best practices, including data encryption and secure coding techniques.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deploying applications.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Undergraduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science or 2+ plus years of experience developing applications.
Experience working with the Azure cloud platform.
Knowledge of Transportation EDI Transactions 204, 990, 214, 210.
Experience with IoT, GPS.
Proficiency with C# a plus.
Ability to implement search functionality using Elasticsearch, including indexing, querying, and data retrieval a plus.
Designing SQL databases and procedures a plus.
Drayage, transportation, or logistics experience.
