What You'll Do
As a Senior Quantitative Researcher, you will play a crucial role in the success of our trading floor. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing insights, reports, and proposals to drive impactful new trading strategies.
- Collaborating with traders to solve mathematical problems, from ad hoc market analysis to sophisticated model creation and tool development.
- Engaging in projects ranging from option pricing and statistical modeling of trading strategies to optimizing systems and building new tools for accurate trading decision-making.
- Working closely with world-class traders and software engineers from over 50 countries to tackle the challenges of a complex and fast-paced industry.
Who You Are
We are looking for candidates who thrive in team environments, love to be challenged daily, and possess strong intuitive skills. Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience working in trading/finance environments, particularly in options market making or quantitative research roles within finance.
- Deep quantitative research and modeling skills, with a passion for solving mathematical problems.
- A track record of successful leadership of research projects, demonstrating effective interaction with various teams and significant value addition to businesses.
- A passion for mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and helping them improve.
