What You'll Do
As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing the reliability, scalability, and performance of our in-house trading systems. Your role will involve:
- Ensuring the reliability of our software to guarantee optimal functioning in extreme market conditions.
- Managing market access, monitoring, compliance, strategy evaluation, and performance tuning.
- Engaging in face-to-face interactions with traders, researchers, and fellow engineers on the trading floor.
- Setting standards for our production environment and making a direct impact on our trading capabilities.
Who You Are
We are looking for a pragmatic, logical thinker with a facilitating and enabling attitude. You should be naturally curious about hardware and software interactions and eager to work on a broad range of projects. Key skills and experiences include:
- Experience managing software and hardware infrastructure operations.
- Strong affinity with Unix/Linux systems.
- Ability to automate tasks using Python.
- Strong design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.
No prior trading or financial experience is required, as our onboarding program will provide you with all the necessary knowledge.
