Clearwater Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Jose, CA. This role is pivotal in developing and refining a powerful new B2B tool that uncovers financial insights, enabling asset allocators to make informed decisions. You will be at the forefront of disrupting the financial industry, contributing significantly to the future of asset allocation practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality web services using Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript (Next.js).
- Explore our corpus of financial data to understand relationships and uncover new insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.
- Design and build scalable and secure APIs to facilitate seamless integration.
- Contribute to the creation of a performant and intuitive user interface.
- Ensure code quality through effective testing and code reviews.
- Stay updated with industry trends and apply the latest technologies to enhance our product.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to your teammates through pair programming and code review.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of professional experience in software development.
- Deep knowledge of Python and experience with web development frameworks (e.g., FastAPI).
- Strong experience in frontend web development using TypeScript and Next.js.
- Familiarity with database systems, data manipulation, and data querying (i.e., SQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
