About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer in Client Reporting at Clear Street, you will join a dynamic team of engineers dedicated to building a world-class reporting platform. This platform is crucial for handling all facets of client-facing reports, and your role will involve designing and implementing new features and services to enhance its scalability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Own the design and implementation of new features and services, transforming complex financial transaction processing into scalable services.
- System Design: Tackle non-trivial problems, flex your system design skills, and implement clean, efficient code.
- Mentorship: As a senior member, mentor teammates, evolve technical standards, and promote best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a team of passionate engineers to push the boundaries of financial technology.
Requirements
- Experience: At least six years of professional experience in implementing highly scalable services.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java/SpringBoot, and readiness to learn technologies like gRPC, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Kafka, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- System Design: Strong command over design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Communication: Ability to clearly explain system design nuances to engineers and stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with the Client Reporting Team Stack: gRPC, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes.
