Your Role
As a Senior Software Engineer in our Blockchain team, you will play a crucial role in integrating and maintaining crypto nodes and services that interact with various parts of the crypto ecosystem. You will ensure seamless integration of cryptocurrencies into our brokerage and white label solutions, serving over 25 million end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions for high-performance backend systems using Python.
- Work on event-driven architecture hosted on AWS with Kafka.
- Build strong relationships across various engineering squads and engage in discussions on topics and challenges.
- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers to enhance your skills and contribute to the team’s success.
Who You Are
- You have strong Python and REST API knowledge, with experience in product-based companies.
- Proficient in using relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB).
- Enthusiastic about the cryptocurrency industry and technology, with a good understanding of popular blockchain networks.
- Solid understanding of event-driven systems design, including event streams and message brokers (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with AWS services, trading/markets, DevOps infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, AI, smart contracts, Cryptonodes, and Web3 is a plus.
- Willing to relocate to Vienna, Austria, with our assistance.
