Your Role
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Python and Blockchain, you will be at the core of Bitpanda's crypto offerings. You will work on integrating and maintaining crypto nodes and services, ensuring seamless interaction with the crypto ecosystem. Your role involves developing scalable and maintainable backend solutions using Python, building event-driven architectures on AWS with Kafka, and collaborating with various engineering squads.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate and maintain crypto nodes and services.
- Develop high-performance backend systems in Python.
- Build event-driven architectures hosted on AWS with Kafka.
- Collaborate with engineering squads to tackle challenges and improve systems.
Who You Are
- Strong knowledge of Python and RestAPI, with experience in product-based companies.
- Proficient in relational or NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
- Enthusiastic about the cryptocurrency industry and blockchain technology.
- Solid understanding of event-driven systems design and message brokers like Apache Kafka.
- Familiarity with AWS services, trading/markets, DevOps infrastructure, and Web3 is a plus.

Location
