Your Mission
As a Software Engineer at Bitpanda, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high-performance backend systems. You will work on launching new assets into the Bitpanda ecosystem and contribute to our event-driven architecture using the latest technologies.
What You’ll Do
- Develop clean and robust software for high-performance backend systems.
- Work on loosely coupled microservices that support the core business of the organization.
- Solve complex, multi-dimensional problems.
- Collaborate with a motivated team of skilled developers who will support and mentor you.
Who You Are
- You have experience in product development, preferably in a FinTech environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of Python and API development basics.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
- Basic knowledge of event-driven design, including event streams and message brokers like Apache Kafka.
- Familiarity with AWS Services, trading/markets, DevOps infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, AI, smart contracts, and Web3 is a plus.
