Your Mission
As a Senior Software Engineer in our Blockchain team, you will be at the core of Bitpanda's crypto offerings. You will ensure seamless integration of cryptocurrencies into our brokerage and white label solutions, serving over 25 million end users. Your role will involve developing scalable and maintainable backend systems in Python, integrating and maintaining crypto nodes, and building event-driven architectures hosted on AWS with Kafka.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly on integrating and maintaining Crypto Nodes and services that interact with various parts of the Crypto ecosystem.
- Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions for high-performance backend systems in Python.
- Build event-driven architecture hosted on AWS with Kafka.
- Build strong relationships across various engineering squads and discuss topics and challenges.
- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers to hone your skills.
Who You Are
- Strong Python and RestAPI knowledge, with experience in product-based companies.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB).
- Enthusiastic about the cryptocurrency industry and technology.
- Solid understanding of event-driven systems design, like event streams and message brokers (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with AWS Services, trading/markets, DevOps infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, AI, smart contracts, Cryptonodes, Web3 is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Vienna with our assistance.
