Your Mission
At Wandelbots, we are on a mission to accelerate the development of robotic applications. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to building crucial parts of our platform. You will work closely with customers to develop automation applications, focusing on extending our simulation solutions within Nvidia Omniverse and Isaac Sim. Our goal is to simplify the process of training, teaching, and simulating robots in a virtual space, enhancing machine learning approaches with synthetic data generation and virtual cameras.
Responsibilities
- Develop and extend simulation solutions within Nvidia Omniverse and Isaac Sim.
- Collaborate with customers to build automation applications.
- Advance machine learning approaches using synthetic data and virtual cameras.
- Mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
- Design and implement service architectures and APIs.
- Enhance software solutions with a robust testing strategy.
- Define CI/CD pipelines for generating test and release containers.
Your Profile
- Extensive experience in software development with Python.
- Strong understanding of service architecture design and API best practices.
- Proficient in software design patterns and able to communicate effectively about them.
- Background in mathematics, particularly in linear algebra, numerical optimization, and statistics.
- Experience with robotics and a strong interest in practical robotic applications.
- Fluent in English, with at least basic knowledge of German.
- Passionate about learning and sharing knowledge.
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with quaternions or conformal geometric algebra.
- Knowledge in computer vision and signal processing.
- Experience with scalable, high-quality software development.
