The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer in our backend team, you will tackle a variety of engineering challenges across fields such as distributed systems, embedded computing, robotics, networking, deployment infrastructure, and security. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and push the boundaries of what's possible in real-world scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and contribute to code, proposals, and RFCs.
- Propose and implement new features across our software stack.
- Mentor peers and participate in the development of our interviewing pipeline.
- Share technical knowledge through tech talks and learning groups.
- Maintain and improve operational reliability and performance of our software.
- Develop robust tests and benchmarks to ensure software reliability.
Ideal Candidate
- Proficient in Rust, with experience in Python.
- Familiar with backend interface tools like REST, GraphQL, gRPC.
- Enjoys collaborative work, including code reviews and pair programming.
- Comfortable working asynchronously and communicating effectively in English.
