About the Role
Join Nordea's Digital Sales Personal Banking team as a Data Scientist, where you will be instrumental in leveraging data to drive digital sales and enhance customer engagement. This role is crucial for our efforts to integrate various data sources to deliver personalized messages and offers to our customers at the right time through the right channels.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Insights: Generate actionable insights that drive business decisions and improve digital sales strategies. Utilize advanced analytics to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Data Management: Set up clean data sets and data models to ensure consistency across teams. Write data transformation jobs and create reusable data assets that are updated automatically.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business requestors within Personal Banking Sweden and Nordic counterparts to align data-driven strategies.
- Innovation and Improvement: Continuously seek innovative solutions and improvements in data handling and analytics. Engage in development initiatives to expand the use of data in marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- Education: Academic degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data-driven environments, either as a data scientist with strong technical skills or a data engineer with a business focus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Java, and either Python or R. Experience with Snowflake and data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Swedish and English is required.
Location
This position is based in Stockholm, Sweden, offering a hybrid work arrangement that combines on-site and remote work.
