Job Description
Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Development Engineer for Amazon Connect Cases, a part of the AWS Applications group. This role involves working on a highly disruptive cloud-based contact center that leverages AWS's extensive ecosystem, including AI and machine learning technologies, to transform customer service experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development: Own the code from design to development, ensuring scalable and resilient systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior technical leaders within AWS to innovate and improve the service.
- Customer Focus: Develop solutions that address real customer needs and enhance their interactions with businesses.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your understanding of computer science fundamentals and industry experience to work across the stack, involving modern web technologies, SOA, NoSQL databases, AI, ML, and Big Data.

Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience building successful production software systems.
- Strong communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
- Experience in object-oriented design practices and leading complex software systems.

Compensation
The base salary for this position ranges from €129,300 to €223,600 per year, depending on location and experience. Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of benefits.
