Job Overview
Molotov, a leading TV streaming platform in France, is seeking a Software Engineer - Backend API to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for driving API integration with frontend apps and third-party services, ensuring our platform remains efficient and reliable during high-load events.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of a first-class international TV streaming platform.
- Develop new screens for our server-driven UI.
- Help build and design our global subscription system.
- Monitor and test to improve product quality.
Technical Environment
- Work with a variety of technologies including Golang, AWS, GCP, Terraform, Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and PubSub.
- Address scaling issues of a high-traffic distributed platform.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of our service through effective use of unit tests, application monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana), and logging.
Candidate Profile
- Passionate about developing modern service platforms with at least 3 years of experience in backend development, ideally in a web-oriented micro-services environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical curiosity.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
