Job Overview
As a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to address complex business issues. Our team is deeply involved in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from analyzing requirements and incorporating architectural standards into application design, to documenting specifications and translating technical requirements into programmed application modules.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions using a variety of programming languages and tools.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirement analysis, application design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed IT solutions.
- Ensure that solutions are aligned with architectural specifications during code reviews and design reviews.
- Identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a software engineering role.
- Proficiency in Unix, Windows, Agile SDLC, Java, SQL, and other related technologies.
Work Environment
