As a Software Engineer at Mercury, you will be part of a dynamic team that is focused on creating exceptional banking experiences for startups. You will work in an autonomous environment, collaborating closely with designers and product leaders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Ownership: Take responsibility for shaping and building Mercury’s future by working on small to medium projects.
- Collaboration: Partner with designers and product leaders to ship lovable experiences that transcend the status quo in banking and fintech software.
- Teamwork: Join a small but mighty team of experienced product engineers within one of our product groups (Banking, Everyday Experiences, Expansion, Risk).
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: 2-5 years of backend or full-stack development experience.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of or excitement to learn Haskell, React, TypeScript, and Redux.
- Product Mindset: Passionate about building and shipping new products with a focus on user empathy.
- Problem Solving: Ability to balance tradeoffs and find creative solutions to accomplish goals.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and cross-functional counterparts.

Salary Range
- US Employees: $149,600 - $176,000
- Canadian Employees: CAD 136,100 - 160,200
