Role Overview

Following the rapid growth of our customer base, Darktrace is looking to expand our team of Solutions Engineers. These fast-paced, technical, and customer-facing roles support our sales teams in ensuring customer needs are met.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will use your expertise to provide technical pre-sales and post-sales support, partnering with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to drive revenue growth and further the adoption of our products. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to technical point of contact between clients, partners, and internal teams at Darktrace.
• Provide technical pre-sales and post-sales support, ensuring customer needs are met.
• Work alongside sales teams to meet with clients regularly through the full end-to-end sales processes.
• Be accountable for the delivery of Proof of Value (POV) engagements.
• Present Threat Intelligence Reports and advice to a variety of audiences, from technical teams to C-level Executives.
• Design and build custom client integrations and define solution architectures.

Required Experience and Skills

• A technical background with existing sales engineer experience in pre-sales/post-sales engagements is preferred.
• Technical graduates with a degree in computer science or a similar field are also encouraged to apply.
• A strong interest in cybersecurity with knowledge of network and security devices/systems (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Firewalls, IDA, IPS, SIEM) and networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information compellingly.
• Ability to work as part of a team in an innovative and fast-paced environment while delivering to deadlines.
• Ability to build long-lasting business relationships.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is essential.

Location

This position is based in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands, with a hybrid work environment allowing for both on-site and off-site work.
