This role is pivotal in enhancing our product-led growth strategy, focusing on conversion, organic expansion, adoption, and monetization.

About the Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with frontend engineers, QA, product managers, designers, and engineering managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Drive product-led growth: Engage in A/B testing and experimentation to identify growth levers and improve key metrics.
Ensure technical excellence: Maintain the highest standards of technical quality in the solutions you build.
Contribute to team success: Share your expertise and learn from others to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Solve complex problems and explore different product-led growth mechanics from concept to implementation.
Build robust backend systems using Java, REST, SQL, and integration testing frameworks.
Utilize relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL and Redis.
Communicate effectively in English, articulating ideas clearly in team meetings and presentations.
Demonstrate self-organization and teamwork, proactively improving tech foundations and delivery processes.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and experience in Java, REST, SQL, and integration testing frameworks.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant software development experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
Expertise in relational and non-relational storage systems like PostgreSQL and Redis.
Experience working in a product team environment.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with A/B testing and product metrics.
Analytical skills to manage complex scopes and run multiple experiments in parallel.
