Senior Backend Engineer (Enterprise Team)

About the Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Enterprise Team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the backend systems that power our enterprise solutions. You will work closely with a team of talented engineers, product managers, and designers to build scalable and robust systems that meet the needs of our enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

Solve Complex Problems: Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation and release, solving complex customer problems.
Technical Excellence: Ensure the technical quality of the solutions we build, maintaining high standards of code quality and performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, QA, product managers, and designers, to achieve company goals.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest technologies and help grow the skills of your team members.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant software development experience, or a Master’s degree with 5 years of experience.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge and experience in Java, REST, SQL, and unit/integration testing frameworks.
Database Expertise: Proficiency in relational and non-relational storages, particularly PostgreSQL and Redis.
Communication: Fluent in English with clear communication skills, capable of articulating ideas in team meetings and presenting during sprint reviews.
Team Player: Self-organized, proactive, and a team player with a strong understanding of customer problems.

Preferred Qualifications

Enterprise Experience: Experience working in enterprise companies and engaging in product discovery alongside product managers and designers.
System Design: Expertise in system design and architecture of complex solutions.
