Position Summary
The Staff Software Engineer at Walmart is pivotal in driving the technical direction of the Samsclub Membership Renewals team. This role involves leading the team technically, architecting applications, and designing them for optimal performance and business delivery.
About the Team
You will be responsible for:
- Providing technical leadership on high-impact projects.
- Influencing and coaching a distributed team of engineers.
- Facilitating alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing large scale software solutions.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in identifying, developing, and communicating differentiation opportunities.
- Recommendations to business, product, engineering teams, customers, and business executives.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of Cloud-based application design, network architecture, and storage.
- Ability to develop automation scripts for validation, configuration, and benchmarking.
