Position Summary

Join Walmart's dynamic team as a Software Engineer III - Front End, where you will be at the forefront of creating reusable technologies to enhance customer acquisition, onboarding, and merchant empowerment. Your role will involve ensuring a seamless experience for stakeholders while optimizing tariffs and assortment in line with Walmart's Everyday Low-Cost philosophy. You will contribute to delivering customized experiences for customers across all channels, including in-store, mobile app, and websites.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups of engineers, including offshore associates.
• Conduct root cause analysis of critical business and production issues.
• Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Support business objectives and ensure business needs are met.
• Develop components and modules that enhance the pool of reusable platform capabilities for UI teams.
• Work on cutting-edge JavaScript-based technologies to develop maintainable, performant, and elegant features in an Agile, incremental fashion.

What You'll Bring

• Programming experience in TypeScript, JavaScript ES6, React + Redux, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, REST, highly scalable Web Services, SQL/MySQL/MSSQL, Java.
• Experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model.
• Excellent communication skills, timeliness, and a desire to write clean, organized code.

Minimum Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service experience.
• Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
• Masters in Computer Science.
