Role Overview
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Teleo, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the design, validation, manufacturing, and deployment of our Supervised Autonomy Tech across various types of heavy machinery. You will work closely with internal teams, third-party installation groups, and customers to ensure timely and successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead complex schedules from hardware ordering to customer handover, ensuring all project milestones are met.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to integrate various disciplines throughout the product development cycle.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to align project objectives and expectations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical, Electrical) or related field with at least 3 years of experience in hardware product development and project management.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering with over 5 years of experience in robotics R&D and production projects, both domestically and internationally. Experience in developing custom workflows in task-tracking software (e.g., Jira, Asana) is highly desirable.
Work Environment
The role may involve climbing, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and handling tools and controls. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs may be required.
