About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at EDO, Inc. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for working on our data pipelines, scaling our data collection and processing jobs that power our analytics. You will build robust and scalable software in Ruby, Python, and C#, and improve our code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and data pipelines.
- Scale data collection and processing jobs to support analytics.
- Build robust and scalable software using Ruby, Python, and C#.
- Conduct unit testing and code reviews to ensure high code quality.
- Collaborate with a small team and take ownership of high-impact projects.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with continuous deployment and rapid product iteration.
- Understand the evolving landscape of media, entertainment, and advertising through technology and data.
What We Are Looking For
- 2-6 years of software engineering experience.
- Self-driven individuals who take ownership of their work.
- Ability to build products quickly and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of software engineering practices and principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a small team.
- Willingness to learn about our clients and their unique challenges.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, MySQL, background job frameworks (such as Resque), and AWS is a plus.
