Job Overview
Are you a software engineer with a passion for infrastructure? We are seeking a dedicated Site Reliability Engineer to improve the performance and reliability of our gaming operations. You will collaborate with software developers to design, build, and maintain scalable and robust systems. Your efforts will ensure that our gaming services are always available, efficient, and evolving with the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with developers to design and architect scalable systems.
- Set-up and configure the core technologies we use such as Kafka, Kubernetes, Redis, etc.
- Improve reliability, quality, security, and time-to-market of our software.
- Provide operational support for running software applications.
- Build software to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or equivalent role.
- Knowledge of container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
- Ability to work proactively, identifying potential issues before they become problems and driving continuous improvement in system processes and designs.
- Enthusiastic and supportive team-player.
Bonus Points
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as the Grafana stack.
- Familiar with DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with software development.
