Join Happening, a technology-driven company powering Superbet Group's global platforms, as a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in Go. Our mission is to provide thrilling experiences to customers worldwide by rewriting the rules of sports betting and gaming. You will be part of the Offer team, crucial for delivering accurate odds in real-time and empowering sports traders with robust internal tools.
Responsibilities
- Contribute directly to the design and code of our platform.
- Optimize the platform to support product features more efficiently.
- Ensure the platform's stability and reliability.
- Support platform expansion into new markets and maintain a stable hosting environment.
- Enable traders to define mappings to our external offerings.
- Impact product health in terms of scalability, speed, quality, and flexibility.
- Maintain low latency and high success rates for the platform, improving user experience.
- Conduct design and code reviews, providing mentorship to other team members.
- Continuously iterate to engage customers and bring excitement to the Sports Betting and Gaming industry.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development using Go.
- Strong appreciation for good software engineering practices such as code/design reviews, CI/CD, TDD, etc.
- Experience in writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code focused on performance and scalability.
- Passion for quality and meeting customer needs by building the best solutions.
Bonus Points
- Experience with our tech stack/tools: Golang, Node, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Kubernetes, AWS.
- Experience building data-intensive applications, e.g., handling 2k+ queries per second.
