Job Overview
Tibber is seeking Backend Engineers to join our Smart Energy team in Berlin. This role focuses on developing smart integrations and optimizations for various energy-using devices, such as electric vehicles, wall boxes, thermostats, batteries, and solar inverters. Our goal is to create individual and holistic smart solutions for homes, contributing to a more flexible energy grid.
Responsibilities
- Device Integration: Build and maintain integrations using various APIs and protocols for different manufacturers of cars and chargers.
- Energy Optimization: Work on optimizing energy usage from a device, customer, and grid perspective.
- Collaboration: Contribute to our architecture, best practices, and engineering culture.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in .NET and Node.js.
- Microservices Experience: Familiar with microservices architecture in high-throughput cloud environments.
- Relevant Experience: Experience with IoT or device integration is highly valued.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the energy industry is a bonus, especially if you are already a Tibber customer.
