Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for a permanent live-in position. This role requires a willingness to travel to South Carolina from October to June. You will be responsible for providing personalized and attentive care to patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes or facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with a supervisor.
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
- Provide medication reminders and engage patients in exercises or other activities.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide License in the state of New Jersey.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One-year prior professional experience.
- Must have all the documentation for employment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Driver's license and willingness to drive clients is a must.
