Job Overview
Developers.nl is seeking a skilled Data Consultant to join our team for a project with the Ministry of Economic Affairs & Climate in The Hague. This role involves working closely with government departments to enhance their information management systems, ensuring data is fully accessible, reliable, and sustainably managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing data management systems and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and challenges.
- Develop strategies for integrating different data management tools, particularly focusing on the linkage between SIRIS and Teams.
- Provide expert advice on the impact of new data management processes on end-users.
- Design process flows and establish agreements to streamline data management.
- Identify technical requirements for tool integration and ensure compliance with government standards.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in complex organizations, preferably within the government sector.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business and information analysis.
- Proven track record in problem analysis and process design.
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration within large programs.
- Ability to analyze and draft advisory documents related to ECM applications.
- Familiarity with information management and the role of ECM applications and Teams.
- Strong understanding of what is required to integrate two applications effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Structured methods for business and information analysis.
- Knowledge of information management and archival legislation.
- Understanding of the Open Government Act.
- Proficiency in OpenText Content Suite is a significant advantage.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to handle stress and adapt to changing environments.
- Strong analytical skills to understand complex processes and systems.
