Infrastructure Developer at Adyen

Adyen is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Developer to join our Development Infrastructure team in Amsterdam. This role involves working on a distributed, real-time, 24/7 system with unique performance and security requirements. You will be responsible for developing CI/CD tooling and applications for the organization, automating processes, and advocating for CI/CD best practices.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop tooling, software, and systems that support a lean and efficient Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for our feature teams.
Develop bespoke local or CI tooling, work on our software testing framework or environments, and design release pipelines and associated flows.
Provide CI/CD "as-a-service" to the organization, developing the glue that binds code and infrastructure together.

Who You Are

Programming Skills: You have 4+ years of experience in maintaining high availability systems built in multiple languages. Proficiency in Python or Golang is required, and Java knowledge is a plus. You should also be comfortable with bash scripting.
Linux Background: You have 2+ years of strong experience working with Linux, particularly in building containers in ephemeral environments.
CI/CD Tools: You have hands-on experience with writing and maintaining GitLab and Jenkins pipelines.
Containerization: You are familiar with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Infrastructure as Code: You have knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet for system configuration and automation.
Building and Automating: You have a proven track record in developing CI/CD tooling and applications, automating legacy processes to meet modern development standards.
Diagnostic Skills: You are capable of diagnosing problems effectively and making quick, informed decisions.
Mindset: You maintain composure but work with urgency during incidents, ensuring performance standards.
