About the Role
Adyen is seeking a Solution Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam. As a Solution Engineer, you will be the primary technical contact for our merchant's teams, guiding them through the integration process with Adyen's platform. This role requires a strong understanding of technology, integration design, and project management, with a focus on delivering exceptional merchant experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Integration: Utilize your development and programming expertise to create scalable and robust solutions for merchant integrations, ensuring adherence to payment best practices.
- Consultation: Serve as a consultative partner in specific verticals such as e-commerce, point of sale, and multi-faceted platforms, guiding merchants through integration processes.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver seamless merchant experiences and drive continuous improvements.
- Project Management: Leverage project management and technical consulting skills to oversee high-quality project delivery, guaranteeing the technical integrity of merchant integrations.
- Optimization: Provide consultation on optimizing payment solutions, including checkout experiences, authentication, omni-channel payments, and platform onboarding.
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of experience integrating and/or providing technical consultation when integrating with Web APIs.
- You have a proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex systems (APIs, databases, SDKs, etc.).
- You possess excellent communication skills and are comfortable leading meetings with high-level decision-makers.
- You can identify and clearly communicate pragmatic solutions to complex integration problems.
- Fluency in English is required for this position.
- Experience in the payments landscape is a big plus.
