Join Our Team as a Data Scientist
Fliff Inc, a leader in social sports gaming, is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models, and providing insights that drive business decisions. You will report directly to the executive team and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance our platform's capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Modeling: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can improve our platform.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast sports event outcomes and enhance prediction accuracy.
- Integration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to integrate models and algorithms into our platform.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure models are accurate, reliable, and scalable.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and improve the performance of models and algorithms based on feedback and new data.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Preferably 2-3 years in data science, ideally within the sports gaming industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn, and knowledge of SQL.
- Machine Learning: Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical models, including supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, and clustering.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
