About Tome
Tome is an AI assistant for AEs, built to automate manual work and enable more effective conversations throughout the entire sales cycle. The platform trains custom language models on your company’s sales methodology, value framework, and GTM tech stack, allowing AEs to book more qualified pipeline, accelerate existing pipeline, and optimize their sales playbook.
About The Role
As the first Data Scientist at Tome, you will be pivotal in accelerating all areas of our business with actionable data-driven insights. You will establish what data science means at Tome, including best practices, tools, and culture. Your work will directly influence our product, marketing, and operational roadmaps.
What You’ll Do
- Understand user behavior by pulling and analyzing data from various sources using SQL and Python.
- Design and conduct experiments; estimate causality based on observational data.
- Analyze natural language and connect it with structured data.
- Identify key metrics and KPIs to measure the success of products, features, and marketing efforts.
- Work with data and ML engineering to improve our data + analytics tech stack.
- Communicate data insights and recommendations to product managers and leadership.
Who You Are
- Passionate about data models, data visualization, and data-based storytelling.
- Deeply knowledgeable about statistics, causal inference, and experimentation.
- Excited to establish data science best practices, culture, and tech stack.
- Fast-moving, knowing when a quick solution is better than a perfect one.
- At least 5 years of full-time data science experience, including startup experience.
