What You'll Do

Quantitative Analysis: Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and statistical modeling to deliver impactful, objective, and actionable data insights.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, product marketers, and designers to drive product decisions.
Data Modeling: Use data modeling skills to identify key product trends and new opportunities.
Performance Analysis: Design, implement, and track core metrics to analyze product performance.
Visualization: Build visuals, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate insights.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proficiency in data modeling and statistical analysis.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong skills in building dashboards and reports.
Initiative to drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
Understanding of Snapchat with excellent product sense.

Minimum Qualifications

BS/BA degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in quantitative analysis and data science.
Proficiency in SQL or similar big data querying languages.
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
Experience with applied statistical techniques, including A/B testing and statistical modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or a related field.
Experience in a product-focused role at a social media or mobile technology company.
Experience using machine learning and statistical analysis for data-driven product solutions.
