Join Our Team as a DevSecOps Team Lead

Are you passionate about integrating security into the development process and leading a team to enhance cloud infrastructure? Zip Co is looking for a DevSecOps Team Lead to join our engineering department. This role is pivotal in establishing and growing our DevSecOps function, ensuring our cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and Lead DevSecOps Function: Initially, you will serve as an Individual Contributor, setting the foundation for our DevSecOps practices. As the team grows, you will lead and mentor DevSecOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

• Design and Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Utilize Azure DevOps to design, implement, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines. Integrate advanced security practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Infrastructure Automation and Optimization: Use Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management. Enhance the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure using Azure services.

• Security Best Practices: Implement security best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure DevSecOps strategies align with business goals.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 8+ years in a DevSecOps role, with a focus on Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Terraform or similar IaC tools, and in-depth knowledge of CI/CD processes and security integration.
• Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Communication: Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Developer background with .Net or Python experience.
